Brandon having come through the Northern Ireland Manchester United Academy was in the same Manchester United Academy year as Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay and Paddy McNair. He was released by Manchester United due to his physical size and in coming to Continental Aspire Soccer he landed trials at clubs in the Dutch Eredivisie and Belgian Pro League clubs.
